At Connected Canine Co. we are all about empowering dog owners with effective training techniques that foster a deeper bond, and promote a motivated, confident and capable companion. We’re committed to helping you overcome any obstacles, and of course, we are here to celebrate all your victories along the way.
Connected Canine Co was founded as an in-home training service in 2024. We have since helped hundreds of dog owners in the Melbourne region to better understand their dogs, set up clear communication, create a more harmonious relationship and inspire them to reach beyond what they thought was ever capable for themselves and their dogs.
Meet our Head Trainer, Abi Naylor.

With over 7 years of experience in the professional dog industry and a lifelong passion for all things canine, Abi is dedicated to helping dogs and their owners build strong, lasting bonds. From obedience training to behaviour modification, she brings expertise, patience, and a deep understanding of canine behaviour to every session.
“A highlight of my work is when clients first get that glimmer of what life can be like with a well rounded, motivated and happy dog. The moment when their mindset shifts from ‘how do I stop my dog doing X Y Z” to ‘how do I teach my dog something new?” is also a favourite.
My personal dogs are Goose the Golden Retriever and Stevie the Labrador. We dabble in various dog sports such as obedience, scent work and trick training as well as enjoying off leash adventures and curling up together on the couch in the evening.
It doesn’t matter if you know a whole lot, or a whole lot of nothing, I’m here to support you throughout this journey and I’m so excited to see the amazing progress you and your dog will make. Together we will tackle challenges and celebrate your victories no matter how small.
